PoofHaul is a bid-based marketplace for independent junk haulers. No lead fees. No monthly subscription. You keep 88% of every job (12% commission, $5 minimum). You pick which jobs to bid on. You set the price. You set the schedule. PoofHaul doesn't dispatch.

How new markets open
We launch each metro once enough local haulers commit to cover it. The threshold is per-metro (typically 8 to 15 active haulers depending on density). When a metro hits the threshold, every applicant in that area gets an email from Josh and customer-side waitlist subscribers learn their city is live the same day.
Applying isn't a wait list in the queue-and-pray sense. It's a commitment that flips a market live. Bringing your buddies along helps your area open faster. Refer other local haulers when you apply, mention them in the notes field of the form.
No lead fees
You don't pay to see a job. Customers post, you bid.
Multiple bids
Customers see multiple bids in writing before picking. Best fit wins, not the first lead-purchase.
Pay after the job
Stripe holds the customer's payment. You're paid out when you mark the job complete.
What we need from you
- A pickup, trailer, box truck, or larger.
- A valid driver's license for your state.
- Commercial general liability insurance with a $1,000,000 minimum combined single limit (we'll point you at brokers if you don't have a policy yet).
- A phone you can take SMS at. When new jobs post in your area, you'll get a text within ~2 minutes if you want to bid.
- Customers rate on photo quality, pricing clarity, and on-time arrival. Ratings drive future bid visibility.
Each jurisdiction has its own rules around waste hauling + contractor licensing. We launch markets only after we've confirmed the legal posture for the area. If your zip isn't covered yet, we'll let you know. No queue position to lose.
